At the January 28th Village Council meeting, Mayor Kim Strauss appointed patrolman, Mark Laubenthal to be the new Chief of Police for the Village! Congratulations on this appointment, with the concurrence of the Village Council! A heartfelt appreciation was given to Lieutenant and acting Chief, Wayne Ramsey, for his service in this position over the past year. Former Chief, Chad Duensing was in attendance and was recognized for his service. A pizza and cake celebration followed the Council Meeting.
